Bicentenary of the Abolition of the Transatlantic Trade in Africans, TTA
(Including endorsed events organized by other agencies & institutions. Changes are likely as the year progresses, but every effort will be made to announce these ahead of time). Please note that 2007 also marks the 120th anniversary of Marcus Garvey’s birth and that the bicentennial will endeavor to honour Garvey’s legacy.
