The Jamaica National Heritage Trust (JNHT) has restored the house at Bustamante’s birthplace, Blenheim, in the hills of Hanover. The heritage site will be recommissioned at a civic event on the hero’s 123rd birthday on February 24. Courts Ja. Ltd. in its support of heritage and culture presented the JNHT with a 29″ television for use in the upgraded exhibition that will be inside the house. The presentation was made on the steps of the replica thatch roofed house on Wednesday, January 24, 2007.
