Heritage Foundations

The foundations were all established to assist in researching, protecting, restoring preserving Jamaica's heritage. They act as `watch dogs'; normally reporting any destruction of heritage property to the police and the Jamaica National Heritage trust. Fund raising is done to carry out projects to maintain, restore and develop Heritage sites, buildings etc. In carrying out their mandate, these foundations that are normally N.G.O.'s submit project proposals to various organizations for funding.
