Riversdale Railway Station

Parish: St. Catherine

The Riversdale Railway Station is a two storey Jamaica/Georgian timber building constructed on a concrete slab base. Timber posts help to support the roof at one end of the building. The ground floor has sash windows and recessed panel doors. The design of the upper floor is similar to that of the ground floor, with the exception of the balcony attached to the stationmaster's quarters and timber doors with lattice fretwork above. A cross-shaped gable end zinc roof covers the structure.

The Riversdale Railway Station was erected around 1896.
