This fort, situated in Oracabessa in the parish of St. Mary, was built during the War of Trade. Erected by John Allen in 1752, it was called Fort Littleton after William Henry Littleton of Jamaica, 1762-66. It originally stood on five acres of land. The land on which it stood was later subdivided and a road constructed.
